Salesforce Interview Questions on this blog are grouped into one place here, so you can prepare for any Salesforce interview without hunting for posts. This page links every interview post we have published, with the topic and level of each one.

Right now, the page covers the Salesforce Admin track: a 25-part question list, 12 scenario posts and 2 answer posts. Developer interview questions will be added here as we publish them. If you still need to learn the topics first, start with our Salesforce Admin topics study guide.

How to Use These Salesforce Interview Questions

The posts come in three types, and each type helps in a different way. So use them in this order for the best results.

  1. Question lists: read the questions for one topic and mark the ones you cannot answer.
  2. Scenario posts: practise real problems, because most interview rounds now use them.
  3. Answer posts: compare your answers with model answers in simple words.
  4. Finally, say your answers aloud, as you would in a real interview.

A Preparation Plan for Salesforce Interview Questions

How much time you have decides how you use these posts. The table below gives a simple plan for three common cases.

One dayRevise the most asked questions and key comparisonsPart 9, Part 20, both answer posts
One weekOne topic area each day, plus scenariosParts 1 to 8, Scenarios 1 to 7

Freshers should start with the Beginner posts and the answer posts. In contrast, experienced admins should spend more time on Advanced posts and scenarios, because senior rounds test design choices.

Tips for Answering Salesforce Interview Questions

  • Answer in two to four sentences first, then add detail if the interviewer asks.
  • Use one real example from your work or your practice org in each answer.
  • For scenarios, say what you would check, what you would change and how you would test it.
  • If you do not know an answer, say how you would find it, for example in a sandbox.
  • Practise aloud, since knowing an answer and saying it clearly are different skills.
