Agentforce Scenario Interview Questions test how you plan, build and protect AI features in a real Salesforce org. This is Post 10 of our scenario series, with problems on use cases, agent setup, prompts, trust, testing and adoption.
Each scenario matches a topic from Agentforce Interview Questions. Our Agentforce for admins guide and Data 360 guide explain the parts you will use.
How to Use These Agentforce Scenario Interview Questions
Answer every scenario in four short steps. First, repeat the problem in your own words. Next, say what you would check. Then name the exact feature or setting you would use, and say why. Finally, explain how you would test the fix with a real user.

Agentforce Scenario Interview Questions on Choosing AI Use Cases
- Leaders want “AI everywhere” in the org. How do you pick the first use case?
- Support gets 3,000 simple order-status questions a week. Is an agent a good fit, and why?
- Sales wants AI to write follow-up emails. What do you check before you start?
- A manager wants AI to approve discounts on its own. How do you respond?
- How do you measure if an AI feature is worth the cost?
- A team asks for AI, but the data is messy. What do you do first?
- Two teams want different AI features with one small budget. How do you choose?
- A task is fully rule-based. When would you use Flow instead of an agent?
A good answer starts with a clear business problem and a way to measure success. Then it says why AI fits better than a simple flow, or why it does not.

Building Agents Scenarios
Study with Agentforce for Admins.
- You must build a service agent that answers order questions. Which topics and actions do you create?
- The agent answers questions outside its job, like legal advice. How do you stop it?
- The agent must look up an order before it answers. What action do you add?
- An agent picks the wrong topic for many questions. How do you improve it?
- The agent must hand the chat to a human when the customer is upset. How do you set it up?
- Customers ask questions in Hindi and English. What do you check?
- An agent must update a case, but only certain fields. How do you limit it?
- A new product launches next week. How do you update the agent?
Name the parts: topics, instructions and actions. Interviewers also want to hear how the agent hands over to a person and how you limit what it can change.
Agentforce Scenario Interview Questions on Prompts and Grounding
- Sales wants a prompt that summarises an account before a meeting. How do you build it?
- AI answers are generic and do not use company data. What do you change?
- A prompt gives a different tone every time. How do you make it consistent?
- The AI summary shows a field that some users should not see. What went wrong?
- Leaders want answers based only on approved Knowledge articles. How do you ground the agent?
- Product data lives outside Salesforce. How can the AI use it safely?
- A prompt template works for one object but must work for another. What do you do?
A strong answer mentions grounding in your own records or Knowledge, clear instructions in the prompt template and testing with real records from different users.
Trust, Security and Privacy Scenarios
Study with Platform Encryption.
- Legal asks if customer data is used to train outside AI models. How do you answer?
- An agent shows one customer the details of another customer. What do you check first?
- The company handles health data. What extra steps do you take before turning on AI?
- Security wants a log of every AI answer. What helps?
- Users are pasting private data into prompts. How do you reduce the risk?
- Who should get permission to build and change agents?
- A regulator asks how the AI makes decisions. What records do you keep?
Explain the Einstein Trust Layer in simple words: data masking, no data kept by the model provider, and audit logs. Then add normal Salesforce security, because the agent works with user permissions.
Agentforce Scenario Interview Questions on Testing and Monitoring
- How do you test an agent before customers use it?
- The agent works in testing but fails for real users. What do you check?
- Customers rate the agent poorly in the first week. How do you find the cause?
- How do you know if the agent is making up answers?
- A release changes how agents work. How do you prepare?
- Leaders want weekly numbers on the agent. What do you report?
- An action fails silently inside the agent. How do you find it?
A good answer uses a test plan with real questions, tests with real user permissions and watches results after go-live. Also say how you would collect feedback from users.
Adoption and Change Scenarios
- Agents are live, but staff do not trust the AI suggestions. How do you build trust?
- Support staff worry AI will replace them. How do you handle it?
- Only 10 percent of sales reps use AI email drafts. What do you do?
- Managers want training on AI features. What do you include?
- A team wants to turn off AI after one bad answer. How do you respond?
- How do you decide when an AI pilot is ready for all users?
- The business asks for a new AI feature every month. How do you manage the requests?
Interviewers want to hear about small pilots, clear training, feedback loops and honest results. Show that you plan for people, not just for the technology.
